Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 27 September 2026
These terms apply to every order placed on yarnvik.shop. Please read them before you order; by placing an order you accept them. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
1. Who we are
yarnvik.shop is operated by MINERVA FABRICS LIMITED, trading as YARNVIK, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 04703503. Registered office: Minerva Craft Centre, Atlas Road, Darwen, Lancashire, BB3 3BY, United Kingdom. Email: support@yarnvik.shop. Phone: +44 7445 823740 (Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:00 UK time).
2. Our products
- We sell home textiles to consumers for personal use: cushion covers, throws, bed runners and fabric storage.
- Each product page gives the size, material, care instructions and what is included. Cushion covers are sold without inserts unless the product page says otherwise.
- Sizes are measured flat before washing and may vary by up to 2 cm. Natural fibres can shrink slightly (up to 3%) when washed as instructed.
- Product images show the design, colour and construction of each item as accurately as we can. Colours can look slightly different on different screens. Items shown with a product for styling (for example furniture, other textiles or objects) are not included unless the product title says so.
- Where a price is for more than one piece, the product title and page state the number of pieces (for example “Set of 3”).
3. Prices and currency
- Prices are shown in the currency you select in the site header (US dollar, euro, pound sterling, Danish krone, Swedish krona, Swiss franc or Canadian dollar). The currency code is shown next to every price.
- You are charged in the currency shown at checkout. Prices in currencies other than US dollars are converted from our US dollar prices using European Central Bank reference rates, updated daily and rounded. The price shown when you place your order is the price you pay.
- Prices are final prices for the goods. Delivery is charged separately and shown at checkout before you pay. See our Shipping page for rates.
- Import duties and taxes that may be charged by the destination country are not included (see Shipping).
- If we make an obvious pricing error, we will contact you before dispatch and you can choose to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
4. How the contract is formed
The product pages on this site are an invitation to order. When you click “Place order and pay”, you make a binding offer to buy the items in your cart. We confirm receipt of your order by email straight away; this is not yet an acceptance. The contract is formed when we send you the email confirming that your order has been dispatched. If we cannot accept an order (for example if an item is unavailable), we tell you and refund any payment in full within 5 business days.
The contract language is the language you use on the site; these terms are available in English, German, Danish, French, Dutch and Spanish. We store the order details and email them to you; you can also see them in your account if you have one.
5. Payment
We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay (processed by Stripe) and PayPal. Payment is taken when you place your order. All payments are processed over an encrypted connection by our payment providers, who are certified to the PCI DSS standard; we never see or store your full card details.
6. Delivery
We deliver to the countries listed on our Shipping page. Orders are dispatched within 2–4 business days of payment. Estimated delivery times, rates and what to do if a parcel is late or damaged are set out on the Shipping page. Risk in the goods passes to you when you, or someone you name, receive them.
7. Returns, cancellation and refunds
You can return unused items within 30 days of delivery, and consumers in the UK and EU have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. The full conditions, the model withdrawal form and how refunds are made are on our Returns & Refunds page, which forms part of these terms.
8. Faulty goods and your legal rights
We are under a legal duty to supply goods that conform with this contract. If you are a consumer in the UK, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If you are a consumer in the EU, the legal guarantee of conformity applies for at least two years from delivery. Contact us if an item is faulty; see Returns & Refunds for how we deal with it.
9. Promotions
We do not currently run discount codes or promotions. If we run a promotion in future, its conditions (dates, eligible products and any minimum spend) will be stated next to the offer, and it will apply only to orders placed while it is running.
10. Legal and export restrictions
We sell to consumers only and only deliver to the countries listed on our Shipping page. We do not sell to persons or destinations subject to UK, EU or US sanctions, and we may refuse or cancel an order (with a full refund) where supplying it would breach applicable law. Our products are not toys and are not designed for use by infants; keep small parts such as buttons and cords away from young children.
11. Our liability
If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for breach of your statutory rights as a consumer. We are not responsible for business losses; our products are sold for domestic and private use.
12. Your personal data
We use your personal data as set out in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
13. Complaints and disputes
If you have a complaint, please email support@yarnvik.shop; we aim to resolve every complaint within 14 days. We are not obliged and not willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living in the EU, you also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country. Consumers in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also bring proceedings in their local courts.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published on the site when you placed it.
